The cap-toe No. 1 is one of the few Goodyear welted boots built with springy Durameter foam in the sock liner. Most boots are made with cork. This means that the No. 1 feels like a sneaker from first wear to last. Balanced proportions and choice materials equal the difference for Hambleton – you'll quickly appreciate the curved, padded tongue, which avoids the discomfort common when breaking in leather boots.
