Deadstock Wool Throw

The name might have jumped out from tags on jackets and flannels in a thrift store or a family member's closet.

Known to most as "America's oldest outdoor clothing brand," Woolrich® built the first woolen mill in Pennsylvania back in 1830. Its wool, constructed into garments for various outdoor duties, is known as some of the most resilient for all climates.

At the end of 2018, America's oldest operating woolen mill closed its doors.

As Pennsylvania natives, we were lucky enough to pick up some of the last rolls from the factory. The Deadstock Wool Throw is a piece of history, built into a blanket to last for years to come and honor the impact Woolrich® wool made on American manufacturing.
