The Carl Yak Shirt

Remarkable. Ultra soft. One unusual reason.

Made from high-grade cotton blended with yak (yes, yak) wool, this fabric makes for some of the most unique shirting we could ask for, and that’s only on the surface.

Yak brings something unexpected to an otherwise familiar fabric. It’s brushed to create an exceptionally soft, fuzzy texture that makes this feel unlike most shirting. Warmth and comfort are a given, and the shirt has a character all its own.

We didn't expect it to look many microns sharper than the average winter shirt. Italian fisheye Corozo buttons, left undyed to emphasize the natural character of the materials, add a subtle point of interest. Hidden buttons beneath the collar allow it to wear neatly for any occasion.

We loved the final product enough to give it a name. After the guy who named the yak—for science—we call it Carl.
